I can feel the textures of things I see. Is this real, and if so what is it?

Post Body

I see textures and objects and can like, feel them in my mouth, if that makes sense? If I see a sparkler, I can feel the fizzing and heat of it in my mouth, and against my cheeks. It sounds ludicrous but I've been experiencing this sensation for years.

Likewise, it can feel like a view starts to touch my brain through my eyes sometimes. If I just sit and look at a painting, picture or landscape, I begin to feel the textures almost brushing up against my eyes, as if my eyes were hands and could feel the textures.

Whenever I try to meditate I get a similar experience; I start to have this intrusive thought of almost inkblot paints, changing shapes and textures, and I can feel them in my mouth. Something ginormous and weighty, or something tiny and spiky, I can feel the textures weighing on my tongue.

I don't know what this is, but I really would love some clarification or interpretations of what it could be. Maybe I'm crazy, lmao.
