So a while back I was attempting to replace the Joycon rails on my Switch because they would come disconnected randomly when attached and I assumed a faulty connection.
Well, I followed a YouTube video and did successfully replace the rails, but managed to do something to the handheld screen. It won’t turn on at all even though I can still hear sounds when buttons are pressed. The Switch also still works when connected to the TV.
Obviously this was very stupid of me and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to have someone fix it, or bite the bullet and buy a new one.
I can’t imagine someone will charge less than $200 to fix it and I’m not sure what to do.
