USB-C Repair Service Recommendations

Somehow fried mine in Europe using a bad cable and/or travel adapter. Won't charge at all. Pretty sure it's the port. I can solder well but this seems a bit high risk to me. Any good services anyone could recommend? Not paying the $120 on the first page of google results as it's probably crap work anyway.
OR is there any way to charge the switch somehow aside from USB-C?
