Need recommendation: short, story-driven game

Next week I will be spending time in a cafe for about 8 hours waiting for something and my plan is to enjoy a Switch game together with a lot of cups of coffee.
What I'm looking for is a really short game (6-8 hours at most) that I can finish in this time. Also, I really want to enjoy a good story, preferably an emotional one without hectic action. The best reference would be Life is Strange (although game time is too long, of course)
any recommendations? Thanks!
