Anyone else ever think about where you’d be if you lost your partner?
I know it’s a horrible thing to think about generally, but for a lot of us in the lifestyle, we’ve built the kind of relationship with our person that would take another lifetime to cultivate with someone else.
A lot of outsiders think swingers must be unsatisfied in their primary relationships but, for most of us, it couldn’t be more opposite. We only got here because the quality of the relationship was so good, and finding this made it even better.
The lifestyle has brought my wife and I closer than we could have ever imagined. Our communication is light years ahead of all of the vanilla couples we know. Trust and affection too.
It kills us to think we’d ever have to start over with someone else if something were to happen to one of us. For me, so much so that I’d probably just wanna remain single.
Any other couples out there ever contemplate just how good you have it? And how lucky you are to be with your partner?
It’s a bittersweet realization 🥹
