Q4: The "Bourbon Barrel, Sherry Cask" Question

Most clubs claim to screen and grant membership only to "Select" gentlemen that meet their criteria.
Please enlighten me about what the typical criteria is. I am sure age or income level or profession are no guarantee against being a jerk. So how exactly does a man make it to the "Select" list?
"Select" as in fine single malt aged in bourbon barrels and sherry casks?
I am asking only because I plan to apply to a very prestigious club in my area and I need help to convey to the owners that I have been matured in cocoa barrels, taste like mint chocolate and Seville oranges, and finish with a hint of warm spices.
