I'll try my best to gather my thoughts here and put it together as neatly as I can! So about 7 months ago me and my husband became friends with the neighbours (lets call them Steve and Stacey) through children and common interests.

After a while we have started doing things quite regularly together, me more than my husband, twice a week I go to children's clubs with Steve and go to the gym once a week with Stacey and last weekend they invited me round to their house for drinks and to just have a chat about how I'm feeling etc, perfectly normal.

Here's where it gets confusing, Steve is telling me about his sex life infront of his wife, she's reciprocating, they're going back and forth about intimacy issues with children and how they rarely get time to themselves which is kinda okay, right? But then Steve starts telling me a story about a threesome he had while his wife is here listening and I am shocked at this point but it doesn't make me uncomfortable or anything, I am an open minded person and I don't mind talking about sex but then he starts joking (or I think joking...) about how they rarely have sex so he "goes out to get laid every now and then" and laughs, he said something along these lines multiple times and his wife is unfazed.

I spoke to my husband about this and he thinks they are swingers and trying to hint at something. What do you guys think? Is this normal behaviour? Are they just very open about their intimate life? Or is there something else going on?
