I know, this has been covered so many times here but let me rant. Why do people contact people only to waste their time? What is the intent?

Example 1:

Attractive couple contacts us on SLS. We have a lot in common. After a little chit chat we offer to schedule a date with them. Crickets. We call them out for wasting our time. They respond "Oh we have just been so busy! We aren't like that!". Too busy to respond to a message over three weeks? So we let it go, not worth our time. Now they message us every two weeks saying "So when are we getting together?" We ask what day works for them and again crickets.

Example 2:

Attractive couple contacts us on SLS. We have a little chit chat. They ask for our Kik and for us to open private pics. We open pics and send Kik. Days go by. We ask if they want to grab a drink sometime. Crickets. Nothing. Then this couple posts in an Ohio R4R on Reddit this morning, a month after our last message to them on SLS. We recognize the female and ask if they want to meet. Their response "we are going to pass. We connected on another app and it never went anywhere". Well it never went anywhere because you never responded! I even messaged them on SLS again to show them that they never responded. Tried to be nice and take the blame for that. They respond by blocking us on SLS and Reddit.

The amount of posers in the LS is incredibly frustrating. We thought it would get better by joining pay sites but they are still so abundant. We are fortunate to have met some really sexy people that we have a great time with. If we meet another real couple or two to play with regularly, I think we are ready to give up on meeting any other new people. Our time is valuable and too many waste it.

I know, preaching to the choir. We need to be more strict about our messaging rules. If they aren't down to meet up after the first ten or so messages, move on. Anyone else have suggestions on how to avoid these people? Just something we all have to deal with?
