Long time lurker, first time poster here. F (47) M (51). Flying in for a work event to Palm Springs and we've read up on both EDR and SMI. Never been to a lifestyle club before but M has several good friends in the lifestyle.

We are in a D/s relationship and have a very kink centered sex life. We've discussed going to a lifestyle club. Not looking to swap- more or less to be in a sex fueled environment. We've discussed boundaries and agree having sex at one of these clubs is OK (depending on the vibe). And that perhaps, if we met a friendly couple, having sex next to another couple- same room, but no swapping. We have Fri/Sat nights to ourselves and may hit both. But wanted any insiders thoughts on what to expect. EDR is having a lingerie party/glow party both nights. Has anyone been and can you recommend it? We are aware SMI is very small and so therefore, more interaction with people. SMI's website states they have a lifestyle takeover that weekend, but we called and they confirmed we could still buy a day pass to join.

Just wondering, based on what we are looking to do, which place do you think is best to go to? And do you think it would be awkward going to a lifestyle takeover, when we aren't looking to swap with other couples?
