Had a great weekend away on a mini vacation with a group of swinger friends and I think I need a bit of feedback and advice.
We started swinging awhile back and met this couple who have become good friends and helped us go to our first house party. We have never swung with them but we flirt and hang out naked and have been in the same room while swinging.
Well, along with them and some other people we had a fun mini trip to Vegas with a rented air b&b and had a lot of fun doing some planned stuff and hanging out. The wife and I thought that maybe this was the time for us to play and I was getting my expectations up. Alas, there was no play. That’s cool. I fully believe that no one owes sex to anyone.
My problem is that my expectations were high and I was looking forward to it. Now I feel depressed and unwanted. Any advice from experienced folks on how to handle those emotions? How do I not let it color future relations? We really like hanging out with them as friends.
Update: Thanks for all the replies. They have helped and I think just writing it down has helped as well. Chalking it up to experience and lessons learned for the future.
