New To Opening Relationship

My husband(23m) and I (25f) have discussed opening up our relationship. I am bisexual and want to explore that part of myself more. My husband is very open to it and is on board with starting to add a (female) third to our relationship in some way. Is this how it normally starts for everyone or does everyone just go straight to mf & mf interaction? I feel like he would eventually be open to the mf&mf interaction but not yet. Any advice for us? Is it easier to start at specific clubs or bars? And how do I find them without being scammed? Thanks in advance.
