Weekend in Fort Lauderdale/Miami

The end of August, we’re taking a trip to Fort Lauderdale/Miami to celebrate his 30th bday! We’ve heard a lot about Trapeze and plan on checking it out. Besides that, are there any LS friendly places, parties, or FUN spots during the daytime that yall would recommend? We have been looking into boat parties and wondering if they’re worth it.? It’ll be our first time in the area, and would hate to do it all wrong since we’ll only be there for the weekend. Any suggestions/tips? Thanks in advance!
