So - based on a previous thread here, I am seeing people discussing some of the common jobs that lifestylers have. I've been in the lifestyle myself nearly 3 decades and although it caters to all types, backgrounds, body types, politics, etc. I am genuinely curious if any of you with some deeper experiences see any patterns or commonality in playmates?
For instance, I have found a large majority of playmates I have enjoyed over the years have been in the healthcare or first responder profession (EMT's police, firemen, nurses, docs, techs, admins). I also have notice many people who have survived some level of trauma or sickness (like accident or cancer survivors, etc.)
I find a lot more lifestyles peoples in areas of higher levels of education, and professionals. My most genuine playmates in the lifestyle are generally in the 35-65 yo camp. Those younger than 35 tend to be dabblers or bucket-lister one offs. I also notice that most of the couples I've enjoyed are both on their second marriages, and are often citing their first marriages as discovery of things like the lifestyle and how it was incompatible with their first spouses. That said, they almost always met their spouses outside the lifestyle, but quickly find it being a common thread they then pursue together.
No judgements here and just observations from my own experiences in enjoying this for many many years. Curious what you all find in your adventures!? Anyone see any trends or common observations?
