Saturday night my wife and I went to see our favorite couple, they’ve just finished their basement bar for hosting and we started out hanging out there. As things got hot and heave we moved upstairs. It didn’t take too long to realize it was really hot upstairs in the bedroom. After a bit the wife looked at me and said “you look really hot”. I looked at the beads of sweat on her brow and said “so do you”. She said “I mean temperature hot”, I replied “that’s what I meant too”. Seconds later the husband (looking like a canine needing a drink of water) seeing that we paused, slips out of my wife, he had a look of relief in his eyes as he wiped his forehead with his hand. My wife (who loves warmer temperatures) looks up and says “Wait are we done? Cause I ain’t done yet”!!!! We assured her we were just taking a break, continued in the cool of the basement for a few more rounds and had a great night. Still the sequence of events/comments made by all of us upstairs has made me smile and chuckle for the last 96 hours.
