Curious what are some of the ways y’all use to verify couples you meet online?

I used to feel safe using the camera on kik or Live photo on Snapchat but it’s easy to fake. I had a couple get mad at me on Feeld for asking for a photo making a unique gesture so I know who’s pictured isn’t just stealing and sending someone else’s photos. I later saw them on 3Fun and they were verified 🙃

Some ideas I’ve put in practice are like what I mentioned about (like making 🤌🤏 gesture) but also a video introducing themselves and saying our respective user names, or a sign with their user name with the date.

I’ve received a variety of responses from getting mad or frustrated that we’re “making them jump through hoops” from genuine people who understand discretion and how risky is can be coming out of anonymity.
