Why is Reddit so much better than apps?

With SDC, Kasidie, SLS, people seem to just “view” but they don’t message or reply messages. On Reddit, if we post an ad we get an average of ten couples messaging us. We like the apps more because the profile and pics let us describe ourselves more fully and see other couples more fully. But they are starting to feel not worth it. Anyone else find that the dedicated apps and sites are more people looking and not reaching out or replying?
