Sadly, it looks like wifey’s favorite couple are the kind who are too busy and disorganized to be any good at making plans. We ask them out for Friday/Saturday on a Monday and by Friday they are still prevaricating and then try to double book with us and whatever else they have going.

Last weekend we just said “you have so much going on today and we’d feel awful if you had to add a drive out to our house to that.” It’s only Tuesday and looks like the same thing for this coming weekend.

It’s a shame because wifey definitely clicks best with their hubby, but it’s not fair to keep our more organized and reliable FWBs on the line feeling like “backups” just because this other couple takes forever to confirm. Plus we don’t like feeling like we’re chasing.

Anyone had experiences with FWBs who just can’t nail down dates? How do you react? With vanilla friends we end up putting them in second priority, behind friends who can make plans and keep them.
