The way we got into things started when a friend of friend asked me when we did MDMA for our 1st time (and I was late 40s 1st time trying it but is truly truth serum stuff and have been great for our relationship) for our 1st time asked, "Hey are you guys swingers?"

I was a bit surprised but after that night I spent 9 months researching it, reading this sub, listening to podcasts since we are super sexual but had never considered it. After talking about it, we feel like the word "swingers" makes us things of movies like "The Ice Storm" where you live in the suburbs and drop your keys...that is not us.

We have found some of our other friends after discussing it openly that they are in the same boat and we have played a handful of times with 2 other couples (one we mostly connect with) but feel like is is more get Freaky with Friends.

We have talked about broadening out, have joined a members only club that does monthly events and we've had sex but so far just with each other. Even if we did play with others I guess we don't really feel like it is "swinging".

Anybody else is same boat and plays primarily with friends and doesn't love the term swingers?
