Frustrating encounter with doctor over STI testing- help?

Wife and I are picking up our play habits. We want to be as safe as possible so we’d really like to get tested bi-monthly and stagger the tests.
Wife was first to go and the doctor basically told her only blood tests would be possible because she didn’t have symptoms.
In addition, doctor would only allow for quarterly blood tests.
Anybody have a better way to do this?

I have a local Labcorp that I go to. Yes I have to pay the full price, but it is worth. No hassles, no questions, I went it the first time, asked to be tested for STIs. They gave me a standard test to ask for and I have been doing it every six months for years now.
Even though one uses condoms, the responsible thing is to always be tested.
