My wife and I joined our favorite traveling companions in Palm Springs this weekend at EDR. We checked in on Friday and headed back home on Monday afternoon.

The property is in a good location in Palm Springs. Close to restaurants, shops, and our favorite toy store, Not So Innocent. It was a welcome change from being clear out in Desert Hot Springs and needing a decent drive to get into town. We picked up some drinks and snacks and went to check in. The check in process was a bit cumbersome with us waiting out front for someone to either answer the phone or the door. We got in and got settled and explored the property. There is one main pool and courtyard off of the main entrance. The pool is heated and cleaned often. This pool and hot tub is the largest and where most folks hang out. There are plenty of chairs and a few day beds and bed beds.

There are two other pools, neither of which are heated and a small hot tub in a quieter part of the grounds. There is also the playroom with two beds and a swing and the sex maze tucked away from the main area.

Friday and Saturday morning were fairly quiet with couples soaking up the sun and chatting in the pool. As Saturday went on, quite a few day pass couples arrived, the girls with shots started circulating and the pole dancing and booty shaking contests were held. There was lots of flirting, but especially compared to SMI very little open sex. The other difference from SMI was the number of clothed people. Quite a few men and women wore bottoms and a few wore tops as well. As it got later, a few couples went to the maze to play and others headed back to their rooms. Sunday was a wind down / recovery day and by Monday there were only a few couples left.

The rooms were okay, with the typical maintenance issues that seem to go hand in hand with lifestyle resorts. The grounds were well kept, but trash wasn’t taken out quite as often as it should have been and to our horror, no coffee is provided in the rooms and the pot in the breakfast area wasn’t made until around 7 on some days.

All said, we had a good time, played a bit, and plan to go back.
