Hi all - quick etiquette question. We’ve been invited to a swinger club theme party night where a small section will be reserved for our friend’s birthday party. Sounds like there may be multiple birthdays going on with lots invited. The theme party itself is likely to make it a very crowded evening. We recently played with the couple that invited us. We just found out another couple that we know is going the same night for the theme night (not the birthday party).
We are afraid we are going to show up and both couples may be anticipating playing with us. How do we handle this? We’d prefer to play with couple #2 but couple #1 invited us to the party in the first place.
We are thinking we just don’t play with either and maybe just play with each other to avoid hurt feelings.
Ideal would be introducing the two couples and we all go play but couple #1 is likely outside the age range of couple #2 so we see that as unlikely.
And what if we meet a third couple we hit it off with.
What’s the etiquette in this kind of situation?
