My girl and I have been together 6 years this weekend and this morning I was pondering our impending anniversary. I realized that our collection of firsts is a little weird compared to most relationships and they are definitely in the wrong order compared to most.

You see we started dating as part of a poly triad. So our anniversary this weekend is the anniversary of the first time we had sex and THAT was in a threesome. It was two more months before we had sex just the two of us for the first time (we had a TON of threesomes in that triad) and 8 more months before our first "dinner date". So we had sex probably 50 times before we even went on a date. A year later we swung for the first time as a triad. The triad lasted 5 years and that means the first time we had sex as just a couple was 5 years into our relationship!

Then, thanks to covid, our first month of monogamy happened more than 5 years in (April 2020). Well that lasted about 6 months. Monogamy sucks, but it REALLY sucks after 5 years of threesomes and swinging! Fortunately we hooked up with one of our swinger friend couples to break that streak last fall, and we have had a few safe hookups since, three total I think.

It is a weird world these days, but I'm 56 and having the time of my life thanks to my sweet gal who is game for anything and of course all you sexy swingers out there!
