My wife and I have a regular couple we play with but so far things have been pretty tame. We’ve done hand stuff, they’ve gone down on us but so far we haven’t gone down on them or done anything more.

Now while intercourse would be protected in any case they’ve raised the desire to keep oral without barriers. Neither of us have a problem with this in principle but would like to know the risk of STI transmission through this. We ‘know’ statistically it’s safer than unprotected intercourse but not to what extent. They advise us they’re tested regularly and we have no reason to disbelieve them.

Can anyone point us towards a study of any sort that might help us make an informed decision on this?
