Two weeks ago, we had a radio show on national radio about swinging. Before that, my wife and I, never even thought about swinging. We even condemned people if we found about them, living that lifestyle. But if you hear there's a radioshow about it, something triggers your curiosity. So my wife and I listened to it apart from eachother. Most part of the two hour morning show was a live interview with a university researcher about the subject. Afterwards I asked my wife what she thought about it and she replied she had a completely different view. Especially the interview with a swingers couple made an impact about her (and my) perception. They were a well educated, good looking (said the interviewer) and loving couple. So my wife asked if I was willing to try it. I agreed, but said I wanted to read some more about it and make a few terms before we'ld plunge into this new adventure. In that same conversation I also said that if we wanted to do it, we shouldn't make a vague plan on doing that in the future, but plan it straight ahead. We started googling some sites and my wife suggested a few clubs she remembered from the show. So we ended up with a decent club nearby that had couples-only nights on thursdays and had an intimate feel to it. The club advertised their thursday evenings as ideal for new couples. We mailed the club for some more practical information and planned our visit the next week on thursday...

The week leading to our adventure, seemed to take an eternity :-) That day, we booked a babysit and when she arrived, we went to a nice restaurant. We made sure we arrived at the club before it was lingerie time. The club was a bit different than we expected (not a lot of pictures on their site), but luckily in a good way. It didn't seem to be a crowded evening, with about 15 couples. I'ld say half of them were first timers. Most of the couples there didn't attract us, so we stayed (as most people) at the bar until 10PM, when it was time to take of our clothes. Some people went straight up to the playrooms, while others went for a sauna. My wife and I stayed for some time at the bar drinking our wine and observing what happened. As we didn't knew what to expect and are a bit shy, we were shocked by how some people started engaging with eachother. We never saw people having sex in the same place that we were in, so it was very confronting. We moved away from the bar and sat ourselves in a comfortable seat and helped by the wine, we started fondling eachother. Meanwhile looking at other couples around us, doing a bit more explicit things. There was this one guy giving his wife some oral at the bar and at a few feet from where we sat, a couple was fucking his wife, one position after another. At that point we didn't want to go upstairs, as we heard a lot of couples having sex there. We continued fondling eachother but kept our underwear on.

When all of the couples came down, our curiosity took over and we went upstairs. We layed down on one of the beds and got a bit more into action with eachother. Us going up must have triggered the curiosity in a lot of couples, because suddenly we had some bystanders. There was this one couple whose conversation we overheard at the bar earlier on. The club owner asked if they were new and the girl answered it was her first time, but her boyfriend had done it in a previous relation. You could see he was acting a bit too confident in showing how he fitted in there, to impress his girlfriend. Which led to annoyance with a lot of couples. They came to us, but as soon as they approached, I couldn't help it, but I guess there must have been some lightning in my eyes and mimic. He saw this, so he dripped back off. Another couple came and layed beside us. I didn't feel any physical attraction towards them (neither did my wife), but I enjoyed the thought of another couple having sex just next to us and getting turned on with us playing. When a guy (experienced) started fucking his wife at the side of our bed, it was a bit too much in our face, so we headed back down...

My wife had another glass of wine and I had a beer at the bar. We had a nice conversation with the club owner. We talked about the radioshow and how it made us change our perception. After this, it was time to leave home because of the babysitter who had exams the day after.

Reflections and questions

1. After 1 hour in the club, we thought we'ld never do anything like this anymore. Luckily the wine helped us to get a bit loose and made us enjoy what came after.
2. From all couples, only one made a chance to interact with us. But they stayed on their own and reacted like us to the annoying couple (the one that tried to interact with us). As we're new, we didn't want to be rejected by trying to approach them. Although they were the first couple coming upstairs and observed us as we were playing. What are the tricks on knowing if another couple digs you?
3. When we got home and the babysit had left, although we were tired, we had the best sex in a long time.
4. We agreed on going back to the club next month and plan this every month from now on.
5. How do you make another couple understand, that they're not what you are looking for and you don't want to get sexual with them? I'm very empathetic and we don't want to hurt anyones feelings...
6. The annoying guy (we started referring to him this way early on, when we arrived) touched my wifes ass two times, while passing by. She didn't like it at all, but was too shy and flabbergasted to react. I didn't see it happen, otherwhise I would've said it to him. But how do you respond to this behaviour? We saw another guy talk to the annoying couple and out of the blue he started groping the annoying guys girlfriend. In the radioshow it was said that this was an absolutely no-go in this scene. But apparently not everybody does his homework, before going to a swingers club.
