Saturday night we were fortunate enough to be in Paris where we were able to go to Les Chandelles, billed by The Google as one of the best swinger clubs in the world.

We give it a 5* review - and not just 'cause it was his first time in a club.

We're New Yorkers (35M/33F) and we desperately wish something this cool, fun and exciting would stay open at home.

Highlights:

• Aesthetic: we actually had to go home and re-up our outfits as he was wearing a joke tshirt (appropriate but we got it). Stilettos, fancy lingerie and a lot of folks in the 8-10* category for body type and French lingerie.

• Strip blackjack, where women could earn their money back (and keep on winning) by taking off their clothes. Chips also could be cashed in for champagne and everyone was delightful at the table, as long as it lasted.

• A variety of tiny, dark rooms full of soft furnishings, hand cuffs bolted into the wall and a few prison bars with kneeling room for fucking while watching.

• Friendly community of mostly-French, English fluent humans who were down for everything.

• We got to play with a few folks of our choosing without even exchanging names, which was a highlight (and a fantasy) for us.

It was a fantastic first time for him as we're both shy, and a wonderful way for me to exercise our French on our anniversary. We stayed out all night and by the end I was tapped out - and he was raring to go for more. We can't wait to go back.
