Playing separately, Picking people up on your own!

My husband and i are new to swinging. We have set boundaries and talked about what we are comfortable with, and aren’t. We have discussed playing separately but haven’t yet. We have had two full swaps with couples and a soft swap with another. He’s out of town and has given me permission to find someone if i want to. I’m going out tonight with friends and don’t know how to go about it? Lol that sounds so silly but i feel so inexperienced finding someone own my own in person/not on a site or app. Anyone have and tips or advice or anything?
