"Misconceptions" may be too strong of a term because it could mean that the thought patterns are faulty but I can't think of another term for this post. If you got past that long sentence, congrats but here's a question:

Are there any misconceptions or assumed norms about the lifestyle that you and/or your mate fall into?

I ask that because I often assume that all women in the lifestyle are bisexual. My wife and I haven't been in a play session where the woman was not bisexual so I feel that is how I got to that conclusion. I know that not all women in the lifestyle are bisexual but I will often go into situations that my wife (who is bi) will become intimate with the other couple's female half. It's just one of those things, I feel, I have to make sure I constantly remind myself on whenever interacting with another couple. But enough of the soul sharing, are there any misconceptions that may trip you up at times in the lifestyle?
