My wife and I went to a house party, with about 50 ish people. About an hour into the party, my co-worker and her husband showed up. I was already naked in the pool with my wife, and we chatted up a bit before they got into the pool. I was beyond nervous, and it was awkward.
Eventually, they got into the pool, and she went topless. We chatted up a bit more while in the pool, but the whole time, I was uncomfortable as I was naked and her topless. She could obviously tell I was looking at her bare breasts, and quite honestly, I felt like it was disrespectful to her and felt bad. I got the sense that she did not mind me looking.
Once they got out of the pool and went inside, not sure if to play or not, my wife and I got out of the pool, got dressed, and left. We told the host we had something come up at home and had to leave.
About two hours later, my co-worker sent me a text wondering why we left? She wanted to hang out more with my wife and I. I just said, "Sorry, but something came up (not true)."
So, we most likely will be in the office tomorrow. Should we talk about this? How to handle it? Etc? I have no intentions of doing anything with her, and I don't want to make it uncomfortable at work.
I kinda feel bad and also the fact I lied. My wife is basically calling me an a**hole over the situation by overreacting and probably caused embarrassment to her.
Has anyone else had this situation?
Easy. When you have a moment to discuss it, you say to her, "I was worried that our presence might make you uncomfortable. Now that I know that that wasn't the case, I definitely won't leave next time we bump into each other"
We had the same thing happen, we ended up playing with them and now we see each other at work and act like nothing happened.
You should have talked to her at the party instead of running away, your wife is right to be pissed for ruining her night over nothing.

Why someone make up story that reflects poorly on them?
