My wife and I live in a small-ish community (Saskatoon, Canada) that is relatively conservative. I'm not sure if this context is important or not but hear me out.

For the last year, we have been looking for couples within a reasonable distance (maybe 500km) with extremely limited success. We still have not had a full swap but have tried other things.

We are looking online and in real life. We are on the most popular swinging app here (swingingheaven), and various local Facebook groups. We attend all the events we are made aware of in our city and even some in a city 200km away.

Our main problem seems to be: - very few people in our age range - very few attractive people (especially the men). And some attractive couples aren't attracted to us - very few people who hit the previous two criterion and also aren't creepy to my wife

For attraction standards we are just looking for: - not obese - good hygiene - at least somewhat good looking - good personality

I'm beginning to think finding another couple is impossible.

My main questions are:

• is there anything else we should be doing?
• are we perhaps too unattractive to have these standards? Our pictures are on my reddit profile. Be brutally honest please
• maybe it just takes more time?

Sorry for rambling here but when we traveled to NYC we had lots of couples who were interested and even met up with us. But absolutely no luck where we live.
