Dancing with a couple on the dance floor. Wife was having a good time but the other wife was not a match for me. I tapped my wife on the hip to let her know that I was not into the other spouse. We left to get a drink. Wife was chatting with some people we met at the bar and made a joke that she was in “trouble” because she as vibing with the husband but I wasn’t vibing with the wife. I frankly took offense at the statement as she was laughing because it felt like she was mis- portraying the situation when I was giving the signal that it wasn’t a match. I felt a bit immasculated but she’s pissed that I’m blowing it out of proportion. I’m frankly a little pissed that she made light of what I thought was a private signal between us. Makes me feel like a bit of a btich when we’ve had the opposite scenario and I’ve never indicated that my wife’s feeling is the problem. Am I over reacting?
