Hey Folks,

Wife and I have been looking to break into the lifestyle for a while and are (hopefully) on the precipice! Looking for some advice.

Met a couple who are part of a community in our area. Before they let folks in they like to grab dinner first and get to know people, aka us. We’re assuming if it goes well we’ll be invited to a party in the future which will be exciting.

Curious if anyone has experience with a first date/intro date like this so we knock it out of the park? If all goes well, should we invite them back to our place close by? Or do y’all think it’s strictly a meet and vibes thing for the future? Don’t want to look too eager, but also don’t want to miss out on fun that night.

Nothing has been indicated either way, just didn’t know if maybe that’s good practice if things go well after the date, or if strictly meet and get to know.

They’re looking for folks with some experience which we kind of have, but not a lot, hoping that doesn’t hurt us. Just so excited and eager to be part of a community.
