Looking for help. Hi, I'm new. I (F33) and my boyfriend (M45) are trying to find apps and websites. He has been a part of the LS before but it's been years for him. I am 100% new to this. We have joined 3 websites and they are not delivering as advertised. I don't have the funds currently to pay for a membership. I have joined ones that have said they are good for our area (Nebraska). We have joined 1 app that again is supposedly good for the USA.

I am wanting to connect with people locally and get comfortable. We are going at my pace and trying to get me out there, but it seems impossible. I am looking for suggestions on how to get out there. I don't want to just be bombarded by men instantly hitting me up for swaps. I am being open and honest in profiles and we are 100% sharing all communication. I know communication and trust are key, and I will not let anyone be misled.

Can anyone in this community help me find something an app or website that is newbie friendly?
