Is this a red flag?

I’m (30s female) very new to this. At first I was looking for a couple to have a threesome with but ended up meeting up with a married guy who does solo dates. He kind of admitted to basically having to strong-arm his wife into opening the relationship, that she didn’t take it well at first, and still has trouble at times with the idea of him being solo with other women.
Is this a bad situation to enter? Does it show a general lack of respect on his part?

If you want couples, go for couples. Plenty exist where both people in the relationship will welcome you. Don’t settle for what you don’t want.
This guy doesn’t treat his wife well. Can’t imagine he will be better to you.
