We're new to Reddit, never having had any other social media account (yet leading surprisingly full and happy lives - how CAN that be???). That being said, we're happy to share a G-rated pic (and occasionally more) of the two of us with folks who contact us IF we feel comfortable in doing so and there is reciprocity offered. (We have actually met two LS great couples on here, after a relatively slow start). Very quickly thereafter, we're asked to switch to different social media ('telegram' seems to be a perennial favorite) to continue sharing pics and chatting - we have zero interest in doing so. Can anyone enlighten us as to why there seems to be an interest in moving away from Reddit and other platforms for chatting and pic sharing? Reddit seems to work just fine for us in this regard.
We always insist on group chats on Telegram. We wanna hear from everyone so to speak

With Telegram you are data encrypted and able to keep some anonymity as you meet people online and get to know them. Especially when you’re a couple who sometimes meets single guys for one offs and stuff - you end up glad you kept a layer of security up. Theres some real stalkers out there.
