We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Sea Mountain Desert Hot Springs over Labor Day weekend (2024). I try to post reviews each time we visit our favorite Lifestyle getaway but try not to be repetitive. But this was one of our best trips.
It WAS hot - 110 degrees, but misters, umbrellas and shade sails made it tolerable, and after sundown, the warm air was fantastic!
When it's this hot, the place to be is in the pool - really too small for the number of people. Several of us "regulars" have encouraged the owner to remodel the pool to a "party pool" (right now there's a deep end not really conducive for socializing), but it's difficult - even during the winter, the pool is the big draw for guests.
It gets to be body-to-body, but its an excuse to get acquainted with your "neighbor" lol. There was nonstop sex among folks in the pool all 3 days. It WAS crowded, but so much fun! My gf's "specialty" is underwater blowjobs - don't know how exactly how she does it, but a bunch of guys found out!
After dark, there was a ton of action on the lounge chairs around the resort.
For newbies reading about this place, the age range centered in the late 30s to early 60s range. Maybe 10% 20s-mid 30s. But if you are ok with partying with couples that ate a bit older, go for it! You'll be popular!
For those who are concerned about their bodies, don't worry. Most of the bodies were "mombod/dadbod" and "mombod/dadbod-Plus". I myself am 5'10"/230lbs and always feel comfortable. There were 2 plus-sized women who said they wouldn't wear a bikini to the beach, but loved being naked and felt perfectly comfortable at Sea Mountain.
Guys - do NOT worry about dick size! 80% of the dicks there were completely normal in size. Were there a few monster dicks? I counted 3, but I wasn't really looking either :)
These are real-life swingers. Most were typical-looking people. They were all beautiful because they were there friendly and welcoming to everyone. As I've said in my previous posts, all you have to do is say Hi and you'll make friends!
The Friday crowd started growing in the late afternoon, probably around 120-150 people. Saturday was near capacity, maybe 180-200 people. Sunday was busier than most Sundays, 80-100 people.
We stayed on property. Holiday weekends are quite expensive ($900/night), but we love the opportunity to invite couples to our room to party. Clean room, comfortable king-sized bed, nothing fancy. We budget for our visits to Sea Mountain. There are reasonably priced hotels just a few blocks away, and dozens of choices in Palm Springs about 25 minutes away, and Morongo Casino Resort, a fully-fledged Vegas-style resort, is only a 40-minute drive.
The music is pretty much non-stop from noon to 2am. It's a custom mix of sexy hip-hop and classic rock with a little bit of country thrown in. Unfortunately it's pretty loud during the day and gets a bit monotonous after 3 days. They do offer ear plugs :).
I'm hoping some folks who visited other Palm Springs area clubs like EDR and Secret Springs this weekend will post their experiences.
Time to tune up the leaf-blower and prepare for hibernation - we're fair-weather lifestylers!
