I attended my first LS house party last night and had a fantastic time! Just wanted to say thanks to this sub for giving me some great advice in the past and in general for being a place to discuss the LS.

I have a couple i play with regularly that got invited to the party, and then the host invited me as well once they told him about me. The 3 of us went together, which made it so much better, as I had at least 2 people there I knew. Most of the people there had known each other for 8-10 years, but everyone was still incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we had some great conversations throughout the night. I had a wonderful time with 3 different women in various arrangements.

While I still prefer smaller get togethers (3-8 people), it was a great first experience and I'll definitely be seeking out other opportunities in the future, as well as hotel takeovers.

For any fellow newbies (I've got just under 2 years in the LS), feel free to shoot me any questions. For any veterans, I always welcome advice about continuing to grow in the LS.
