We hosted our first play party last weekend and it turned out to be so much more exciting than we were expecting! We really just wanted to share some of the details and an overview of the evening because it was so much different than what other posts on this sub had us expecting.

We invited 14 other couples and a few singles, including the couple that we had posted about previously. For the record, they were happy to get the invite, couldn’t make it to this party, but would definitely try to make it to another down the road. Thank you all for your opinions on that.

Of the 14 couples invited, 9 of them RSVP’d. Which was about what we were hoping for and expecting. Our house isn’t huge and with many more it would have been over crowded. 2 of the couples canceled last minute so in total we ended up with 7 couples and 2 singles showing up. The first half of the evening was lots of casual, slightly awkward mingling, almost no one there had met previously so there were lots of introductions to be made. We were a little worried that it was going to stay as more of a meet and greet. Which would have been great, but obviously we were hoping for more.

We set up 3 play spaces, thinking people would break off into their chosen pods and have space to play separate from the crowd. About half the group eventually moved into the larger of the 3 spaces and started a truth or dare card game we had set out. As things started to get steamy word got around the party and the other half of the crowd made their way into the space and joined in on the game. Within half an hour the party had turned into a full blown orgy! People heaped on top of one another, no one was off limits, everyone was taking turns with everyone else. IT WAS AMAZING!

As it got later and things started to wind down, people slowly got dressed and said their goodbyes. Almost everyone ended up exchanging contact info, and a bunch of us got together the following day for some beach time and dinner. It was great to spend a couple hours with everyone to flirt more and talk about the party. All in all it was such a great night and so much more than what we were expecting!
