This is more a question for the people who go to clubs a lot. We’ve had some amazing experiences and developed great play partners. But we’ve also had a few with people that we rather not revisit. We’ve told these people pretty soon afterwards that maybe we weren’t the best fit play wise etc. Usually this ends it and everyone moves on. But we’ve also run into the awkward situation where, because this world is smaller than you think, they show up to the same parties/events and try to engage with us in a sexual way. Now we are big communicators so we usually say “hey, we just want to be friends in the scene, that’s it”. But we wanted to hear from the more experienced people how do you deal with the “oh shit it’s that couple we would rather never see again” at a club? What other ways do you make sure it doesn’t get weird?
