STI app vs PDF?

We are new but curious on what is acceptable method of proof for STI testing evidence.
We go to our general practitioner for our blood testing. They in turn send us to either quest or labcorp to do the collection. Then the Dr has a portal that we can download a pdf (quest) with our results usually with 48hrs. Easy! Now that we are entering the lifestyle is this acceptable to show a pdf of our results? We have noticed that free clinics may offer an app to share results. But we really don’t want to mess with the clinics when easier for use to visit dr. And we know and trust them. Advice?
