Okay, so there's a new resort in DHS named Secret Springs Resort, it opened about 3 months ago on the south side of town. We finally made it out there and here is our review.

The place is of a decent size, the pool is large and it's what is often know as a party pool, about 5ft deep all around. The pool will be renovated later this year, there is a provisional patch right in the middle but nothing to be concerned about. The property also has a large jacuzzi with hydro massage jets. There is not one, or two but three play rooms, some of them equipped with bondage goodies and other with a Syvian, all rooms stay cool with air conditioning. The property has 4 or 5 rooms (pardon our not so accurate info), we got to see one of them and it's basically an apartment, fully equipped kitchen and small living room. There is seating around the pool and some day beds. There is more seating around the jacuzzi and under the big tree.

There is plenty of shade, the pool has a shade cloth on top, the day beds are under a patio roof and the big tree provides shade for the jacuzzi and extra seats in the back. The main patio/smoking section is also cover with shade cloth, that was a big plus for us.Mostly locals with some out of toweners (like ourselves),we were not the youngest at 35 years old. There was couple younger couples and most of the crowd were in their mid 40's. Now, for reference... Dewey from SMI is a party guy, this guy is totally opposite. He's mellow and attentive, talks calmly and kindly. He cooks around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, we gave him a heads up that we were going back to the hotel to check in so he didn't have to cook for us, world class guy.

You have to create a profile on their website and pay membership there. Because they are the new place in town, I believe they run special once in a while. We got our membership for $20 a year during a sell.The ALL-WEEKEND pass is less than $200, and weekend day pass is $95 fees. For reference SMI is at $199 fees and membership for a day pass. Just food for thought.

Is also a bring your own booze, they have a large fridge and coolers are welcome, we did see some coolers staged around the back but I'm not sure if they belonged to guests or he actually set those coolers for the guests.The place is advertised as clothing optional but everybody was nude all day and night.

The place is perfect, and we think we will be switching from SMI to Secret Springs for good. For the price and service is worth a try for anyone looking for an alternative to SMI or EDR, most of the couples there were former Tuscany or SMI guests that wanted to switch to something fresh and less expensive.
