TL/DR: Is a potential play partner googling my number to verify my identity a red flag?
Context: I (M) have been chatting with a potential hotwife nearby on an app and things were going well enough we decided to move our chat to text since she was DTF and not endlessly chat. We exchange numbers and she messages me, "Hey is your name XXXX?" I go by my middle name and not my first in social settings so I confirm that is indeed me. She replies with she just wanted to make sure I wasn't fake. That feels a bit invasive right out of the gate. Am I overreacting?
