Do couples often restrict the level of sexual activity with other couples?

In the UK contact magazines would sometimes have profiles from couples which said ultimate with own partner which meant couples would only have intercourse with their own partner and I am curious if this policy is common among swingers and if couples engage in sexual activity which doesn't include intercourse with the partners of another couple, does this decrease the possibility of jealousy.
