Wife and I live in a smaller population centre. we do okay, but we have had the issue a few times where we have found coworkers of mine. We don’t do a lot to protect our identity. Which is fine, I work for one of the largest employers in our area. 450 employees. my issue is that I also have a leadership role.

I’m not sure if I should progress at all, these people don’t work directly under my supervision, but they so far have been younger couples, so there is that aspect of it.

we don’t like the idea of shutting where we eat, but this is a small city and six degrees of separation would be generous at best.

One of the guys we had over has a brother that works directly for me who is also my sisters neighbour type of stuff. Other couple we played with wife is a cousin to one of my best friends growing up, another guyswe had is a brother in law to a family friend. It’s almost inescapable. We are well connected and it seems like regardless we have connections when we meet people.
