Lets be honest here, you only notice this because you've ignored the very large % of overweight women in swinging.

What happens is you see fat wife, fat husband... they don't exist.

Then you see fit wife, fat husband ... "why is it men suck at staying in shape!"

And at least where we've been its far more likely to see fit wife fit husband than fat husband fit wife. Like attracts like, despite the old saying.

And for those fit - fat parings, we get into what makes women/men attractive to each other, and women judge on a lot more than men do. I'd rather be an ugly man than an ugly woman, men can be attractive in other ways to women, while men tend to focus on physical beauty more.

People's standards typically decrease when they're not looking for somebody to cohabitate or reproduce with. That short bald guy with a slight gut but his hung like a horse is a much more opportune situation than if I was looking for something long-term. From our personal experience especially at takeovers a 300 lb woman can have far more success than a gym bro who is shredded.
