My wife and I have been looking for a unicorn recently to experiment and we are having trouble. We will post and get some response from people that seem normal. A few days later they will delete thier account or just block us. Is this normal? We also started verifying pictures with Google image search. A few people came back as Tumblr or random FB accounts. Is it normal for people to just message us trying to get pics from us? It is getting a little annoying and makes us just give up on the whole process.
When you hunt for unicorns, you mostly get donkeys with a horn taped to their head.
No, they in fact do. I could even give the name of one who's been on for years, busted, made a new account and is still playing that game only with some college girls pictures that you can't find openly. I can't tell you WHY this is a thing for some people but its not even the only one I've encountered. One used photos of a Swedish fitness blogger from a blog in 2003. Another from a Chinese clothing site.
I know a couple real ones too, but most, and by most I'm guessing 90% or more, are either sex workers or fakes.

Most of the single females on swingers sites are fakes and sex workers.
It was hilarious when reverse image search became a thing on SLS. If it was an attractive single female (paid) it was a fake.
