I think a lot of us get into this not just for the sex, but for the sense of fun and adventure coming back to our adult lives when they start to feel a little dull.

My wife and I are putting together a list of fun events worth traveling to at least once. It's not even necessarily lifestyle, but more like the best parties in the world which will often by virtue of being a party include some lifestyle opportunities or at least be in a fun place where you could check out a club while you are there.

We're looking at things as varied as:

• Mardi Gras in New Orleans

• Carnival in Rio

• La Tomatina in Buñol

• Boat parties in the US like Jobbie Nooner

I'd also include places that don't necessarily have a specific event but are known to be a big party. Vegas, Ibiza, Cancun...resorts like Hedo and Desire are well documented here so they are on our list as well but don't necessarily have to be in this conversation since they are discussed to death.
