Wife and I have been talking about being parents lately. So how is being a parent in the lifestyle like? IK this sounds vague as fuck but we don’t really know even what to ask. We both have come to the agreement however that if we have to, leaving the LS is something we’re both willing to do. Also I am very much aware we’re not gonna have much time to go out and play(sleep and gym are bigger priorities than swinging for us and we are not going to have time for that).
Thanks in advance
Unless you have special needs child, the horror stories about children are greatly exaggerated, especially by social media types.
Swinging with children gets more expensive (hotel vrs home).
Swinging with older children gets more complicated time wise with kids activities.
Swinging with younger children requires good babysitting which if family isn't near by can be expensive.
But its really not that big of a deal.
I'm now old enough to have seen the some of our friends who were young when we started like us, but were "going to have kids" at some point, not have kids and basically give up that aspect of life for swinging and are now too old to have children, or at least have a higher risk pregnancy.
It's really kind of sad to see, and I can understand how one gets into that mindset of "if I do this I can't do this" especially when your entire social circle is swingers. But really we only "lost" a couple of years and a few parties.
We find that it builds sexual tension so when we do get out it’s explosive.

I think there are just two styles of swingers. Planners and last minute. We dont have kids, but we don't make last minute plans (we have a packed social calendar) and we typically don't connect with those who want last minute.
