Where can we find events to attend in the states? What's the best site to search when traveling?

We were planning to go to Vegas for the weekend of the 28th but had to cancel out trip. Now we're looking to road trip to the states for the weekend and wanted to see if there were any lifestyle events we could attend.
Where would be the best place to search? Looking for maybe hotel take overs or something along those lines.
