Better safe than sorry? Testing

So I have a question about what I may be missing or looking past when it comes to STD testing and vaccines. I was vaccinated for Hep B when I was a kid, currently getting tested about once every 3 months for the common STDs. We always use condoms when playing with others for penetration. Just curious if there is any other vaccines or safety nets anyone else uses or recommend for others in the lifestyle or does it sound like what we are doing is just fine and enough?
