Before I write the review of the club, I just want to mention that we're in our early 40s, very much HWP, into full swap/group play, been to about 25 different LS clubs in the US, and have been in the LS for 5 yrs.

So, i noticed that there were no recent reviews of Club Eden in San Antonio and what little people mentioned in the comments were somewhat discouraging ("full of morbidly obese people" or "cliquey" or "really outdated venue," which was based on their former location.) Compared to the other LS club in town (Player's Club) there wasn't any info.

Apparently, they moved to a much nicer venue about 6 months ago but because their clientele use Facebook or their Telegram chat group to communicate, not a lot can be found on SLS, SDC, Reddit, or whatever else platform.

So, for anyone having the same problems we had, here's a review.

We were visiting the Austin/San Antonio area a few weeks ago and decided to try out the place.

First impression: pretty standard as far as most LS clubs go. A warehouse like place in an industrial area of a city. Dedicated parking lot and plenty of security to keep any riffraff out.

The daily door fee includes a one day membership fee so you don't have to shell out extra $$ if you're only visiting or just want to test it out. On a Saturday night, we paid $95 as a couple.

They gave us a tour of the place and the impression we got from it was they REALLY want to nickel and dime you for everything. From getting mixers for your byob alcohol, to late night food, to using the lockers, to exhibitionist rooms....they try to charge you for EVERYTHING.

The exhibitionist rooms (that they called "Content Creator spaces" that had the windows looking in, stayed empty all night. What wasted opportuwwtneity. Most clubs usually have spaces like this open for all members)

That said, many of the couples there were very attractive. (Hardly any obese people like someone else mentioned in an old review)

BUT! I have never encountered a more cliquey clientele than this one. And i'm a social butterly. I did the rounds and talked to bunch of people. Did my sexy dance on the dance floor by myself because people were too shy to dance. I simply don't give a F)

My husband, who was sitting at a table with our byob drinks (leaving it at the bar apparently costs money. Wtf. Must be a state law thing because serving yourself in an LS club is illegal for us in NJ) was approached by a few men mentioning he has a sexy partner but it lead to nothing because they were too preoccupied with their existing groups.

If i lived in the area, i'd probably join their FB group or Telegram chat and try to establish rapport but we were only visiting for a weekend so we weren't able to do that.

The club itself is very nice. Clean, bright where it needs to be, darker in play spaces, clean bathrooms, etc. Big open dance floor, music that's not THAT loud, clean playrooms, sexy people....the setup of the club though (similar to a nightclub with vip bottle service. tables surrounding the dance floor) isn't really conducive to mingling.

Overall, I'd say it's a pretty good club. If you're newbies to the LS and live in the area, I'd just get their annual ("VIP") membership, and try to frequent the place so you befriend the regulars. Join their FB and Telegram group and set something up beforehand.

Compared to the other clubs we've been to though, we didn't feel like it provided enough for what they charged. (drinks, food, lockers, rooms, and cliquey people) And we live in the NY metro area btw. Not cheap at all!
